SDN-8254S

The SDN 8254S is a high performance wire-speed layer 2/3 switch platform, with non-blocking performance of 48 port 10/100/1000 Mbps and 4 10GE uplink ports. It is embedded with 4MB of packet buffers, 32K of MAC entries and up to 16K of routing rules. It is capable of handling both IPv4 and IPv6 traffic and is equipped with a storm control feature to avoid Broadcast or Multicast storms in the data center. The switch provides a full set of Layer 2 switching features used for aggregating servers within a rack, or accorss an easily managed medium sized data center fabric. A full set of IPv4 and IPv6 routing features, including ECMP, OSPF, and BGP, supports integratiion with a large Layer 3 data center fabric. The SDN 8254S provides for power redundancy with two customer replaceable power supplies. Each power supply can individually provide enough power to the 8254S to run at wire speed. Connect each power supply to a separate power source for power redundancy.

The ECS4660-28F is a standalone L3 Gigabit Metro Ethernet routing switch with 24 1000Base-X SFP slots, two 10G XFP uplink slots, and two 10G module slots that can support two additional 10G uplinks. With up 107Mpps performance, the ECS4660-28F is ideal for service provider aggregation deployment, providing wire-speed L2 switching and L3 unicast and multicast routing. To maintain functionality, the ECS4660-28F provides redundant power, a hot swappable fan tray, configuration rollback, and G.8032 ring protection.
